I'm getting in the mood for sewing

It's been too long, but only five days till school starts. I am determined to get some UFO's out of the way. I have taken out the baggy containing the half finished blocks for the Christmas quilt, they have been ironed and are waiting to be sewn. I WILL finish it this year !

I would also like to do a quilt based on the lovely floor mosaics we saw in Italy.

    good luck getting back to sewing, and better luck with those first few days of school. have I told you how much I wish I had been in your suitcase? I need to get back over to Europe before I am too old!! (I have time (; )

    Plenty of inspiration in those floors. Good luck with the Christmas quilt. Everyone seems to be making something. Guess I'd better start getting my act together. Ann :)

    Picture #3 would make a fabulous quilt (IMHO). Mmmmmm would look pretty good as a watercolor picture as well :)

    I thought I'd leave you a little note here...come play the lotto! I joined to sort of stash bust, more like explore since someone just sent me 34 pounds of fabric a few months ago and some pieces are too small for a real quilt but PERFECT for this. Plus you learn new techniques/blocks/color options etc. I have done two months now and love it!!!

    oh and I am getting blocks from three people in the UK and from someone in Jerusalem!!
