Gardening in a Tutu and silver boots

and why not !?!
I have started tackling the garden, today I butchered ferocious child mauling brambles and then smashing of concrete pathways. I have planted 7 bushes down that side which is much prettier than a path that went nowhere!.
Which is what Aubrey is helping with in the 1st photo, shes running the concrete pieces up the garden to chuck over the back fence. (Its still my garden up behind the fence, it was too big so I cut the garden in half!)
I ache in lots of unimaginable places, my right hand especially from the sledge hammer. But tomorrow I get to go to the garden centre with Mum to pick out the bedding plants for my showy display(and bark to hide the weed barrier lol)

  1. Aubrey looks like a pretty little garden fairy in her tutu and silver boots. I'm sure it will be a beautiful garden when you are done.

  2. If I had silver boots, I might wear them to garden too! Your daughter looks like she is having a fantastic time, besides. You'll have to share garden pictures periodically so we can see how it grows.

  4. Aww she is so adorable. She can garden in anything she likes. I seem toremember my girls doingall sorts of things in tutus and in ice skating costumes.
Can't wait to see your garden grow.

  5. Of course you garden in boots! And I'm sure the tutu has some spectacular bug-discouraging properties that I am unaware of... :) Theri
