Rachels quilt

Here it is..... a coin stacked quilt using Swanky by Chez Moi for Moda, with an orange polka dot backing and binding using Oz by Sanae for Moda. A meandering loopy quilting finishes it off.
The last picture uses an arch that I purchased last week on sale, I'm hoping to get some strong scented roses to climb it. It's also going to be the doorway from my part of the garden to kids part, once I get all the cottage garden plants in either side of it.
It's super hot today (high of 30/90, that's very hot for us!) so we have the paddling pool out and the BBQ heating up ready for the salmon. Although at 3pm we shall be indoors cheering on England!

  1. The quilt turned out really pretty. I know about the heat. It has been in the 90's and up here for the past 3-4 days. 3 days in the 90's is considered a heat wave. The humidity makes it feel even worse. Here's hoping things cool down for you a bit.

  2. The quilt turned out beatifully! And I don't see a kitten hanging from the binding, so it looks like you managed to finish without little Sam being included. It's been almost that hot here, too, with huge amounts of humidity as well. You're not alone in your heat-induced misery!

Hot here too, which I like...humid also which I do not like. Maybe I need to get a little pool too.
