Charm Bags

Charm Bags and Tissue Holders made out of Moda Charm Squares.
The bags are lined and quilted and use 8 charm squares plus 2 for the handles.
The tissue holders used 4 charm squares then cut down to size.
These will be going to Rachel's teacher and teaching assistant at the end of term (22nd July)
I'm banned from the garden this week as I managed to burn my knees and get a humongous heat migraine last night/this morning. So I'm making the girls some summer skirts out of scraps...hmmmmm!

  1. Banned from the garden? Oh, gee, twist my arm and make me sew...though I do hope you're feeling better today. The bags are very cute and sure to be loved.

  6. The sun can be brutal! I don't do well when I'm in the sun a lot. The bags are sure cute!

  7. I do hope you are feeling better soon Karen. The garden can be a dangerous place which possibly accounts for the lack of time I seem to spend in it. Love the charm bags and tissue holders. Is it your own pattern? Ann :-)

  8. Wonderful bags, the teachers are so lucky! Hope you are feeling much better today. I only garden in the early morning or evening to avoid the sun here as much as possible.

  9. Yes Anne I agree very dangerous place!! I was just silly and missed my knees when applying suncream and should have worn a hat, which I don't own. It is my own pattern, shall I do a tutorial?, I've never done one before, could be fun.

I hope you are felling better today. Gardening is dangerous work. I try to avoid it. (I really do..but I avoid it because I do not have a green thumb).
