I knew I was in trouble when I saw the window display

Yesterday I went to Puddleducks in Sevenoaks, my nearest (i think) proper quilting store. Its run by a lovely lady who hails from Colorado, which is where I lived for 3 years! The shop was great, I got to touch loads of fabric and dream about the many quilts I could make. I have three in my head planned, two wedding quilts and a baby quilt.
*sigh* Then I had to pay for all my lovely fabrics *ouch!*

I already had the dragon/castle fabric and the grey moda solid, but purchased the green and blue. I couldn't wait to cut it up and make a block, but thats it for now as I have lots of projects to finish for next week.

You know when it's time to stop sewing for the day!

  1. That castle fabric is very cute. I look forward to seeing what else you bought and what it will turn into. And did you sew all the way around that skirt? Yep, definitely time for a break!

  2. I gathered it and then sewed all the way round... I got Aubs to take off her jammies to try it on and then realised my mistake! I'm just about to sit down with a cuppa and unpick it!

  9. Like the castle fabric and the colors youput with it. Seems like some days I spend more time unpicking than I do sewing. A least that can be fixed!

  11. Love the fabric and the color combination--just perfect! And haven't we all had that "how'd I do that?" moment... Aren't you happy it wasn't a larger size? Mary
