Ok that really hurt!

my wisdom tooth being pulled...ouch, I couldn't eat, couldn't sleep and had a swollen face for 10 days! Today I feel normal ( well normal for me!) and cracked o with the Paintbox Quilt top. I did want it finished last week, but there was no way, one the tooth and Rachel had her birthday party which went on to a summer BBQ for my friends and family.

Rachel's favourite blocks, check out her top teeth, yep she lost both of hers last week, thankfully she understood that the tooth fairy got caught up a lot of teeth falling out in Belize and couldn't make till the weekend!

Not quite flat but I'll save that for the big reveal later this week. I love it...I wonder if I'll still love after the quilting I have planned?

  1. Oh this is lovely!

I'm sorry about the tooth and glad that you're feeling more yourself now. Funny, the tooth fairy gets delayed bay "bad weather" quite a lot at our end!

  2. Ouch! The good news is that you'll never have to have them pulled again. And that tooth fairy...maybe he (or is it she?) needs an assistant?

I love the paintbox quilt! I think that one is definitely going on my "eventually" list.

  3. Glad to hear you are feeling better and the tooth fairy caught up with her duties. Did the tooth fairy visit you, too? Sounds like you deserve a little treat for your ordeal.

Your paint box quilt is beautiful, love the pretty colors. It looks like sherbert, yum.

Glad you are doing better from the tooth....nothing like being punched in the face AND having to pay for it!!;)

  6. Oo that's nasty! I had my 2 bottom wisdoms out years ago and were thankfully trouble free, so I can only partially imagine what you went through!

The quilt really looks stunning, and I'm sure you'll quilt it beautifully!

  7. Ouch...glad you are recovering from the wisdom teeth extraction. I had mine out right before a formal dance (in high school) good thing I had long hair, I sorta swooped it over my swollen cheeks. What a night.

Love your paintbox quilt. I can't wait to see it after your quilting marathon.
