UFO Challenge 2011

I'm following Judy's UFO challenge, take 12 UFO projects number them 1 through 12.
Each month a number will be pulled and you HAVE to complete it.
Or the quilting fairies will come and poke you with their magic needle wands ( and they hurt!)

1. APQ Blocks
Had since May2010
2. Connors quilt
Had the fabric for a year, thought about since he was born!
3. Aubrey's quilt
Shes five on Saturday and has been talking about her quilt since she could talk!
4. Summer skirts ( OK not a quilt but def a UFO!)
Last summer I started this one, its an easy one as most of its done.
5. Dresden quilt
The shapes are cut and have been for years!
6. Dads healing quilt
The newest one on the list
7. Spider web quilt
Started last September, this is the one I really want to finish
8. Fresh and Funky quilt
Blocks made last August by the Bee
9. Random quilt - 1
Who knows why this was started and why its not finished
10. Random quilt - 2
Another one!
11. Mums Christmas lap quilt
A quilt along which hasn't been finished!
12.Christmas quilt
Needs to be done its getting silly!

Lets hope number 12 doesn't come up in Dec and look what a coincident Dads healing quilt is number 6 and that's this month ;)

Aubrey is hoping number 3 comes up soon.

This is the begining of the spider web quilt, its all cut out and waiting for me to start sewing.

Christmas quilt is over 3 years old, each year I think I must finish it and each year I do a little but never finish it in time. It needs boarders and quilting.

  4. Good luck! That's quite a list you've got there, but this looks like a really good way of helping you to get through it. Don't forget to start some new fun projects too! Hope you have a wonderful 2011. Juliex

  5. Organizing a list sounds like a great way to get to some of these projects. It's hard to have fun with something new when unfinished projects haunt you. Good luck with getting through them, you have a great start. Happy Birthday to Aubrey, are you doing a party with wonderful treats this year?

  8. Good luck on the challenge. I'm not signing up for it because we will be doing more traveling this year and I doubt I could keep up. I will try to get some UFOs finished on my own, though, so I will need luck too!

  10. Hey, join Katie and me. Katie is signed up and I am following along. We are going to compare accomplishments at the end of the year. Did I leave someone out? I think there is a third. Brain is such a sieve sometimes, LOL.
