Happy St George's Day

Today is St George's Day and we celebrated with a fete at school. We had traditional English games, tea and scones ( hence the flour incident yesterday, I made 100 of them!) and Morris dancing. Rachel attended in a Regeneracy Era children's dress, we tied her hair in rags last night and had lots of red curls to deal with at 6.30am! The weather was fab and I'm a little pink :)

    I didn't realise that you celebrated St George's Day. How nice to know the *fun police* haven't put the dampers on it. 100 scones eh? That would almost qualify you for memebership of the Country Women's Association here. Rachel looks as though she has stepped out from the pages of a Jane Austen novel. Very pretty indeed.
